The customer service at Slough Paul's bakery is excellent. The cake was also fresh and tasted amazing. The design was perfect to my liking. Family loved the cake and would recommend highly to others.

Unfortunately our last experience at Paul's was terrible, the lady on the phone took the order and when my mum went to collect the cake it was missing chocolate sprinkles, the lady showed my mum the note the staff had taken incorrectly over the phone and her rude and aggressive manner made my mum feel she needed to take the cake as it was. However as it was a cake for my nephew's 6 birthday and we didn't want to upset him my dad decided to take it back to have it corrected, the lady then told them they would charge for the sprinkles and an additional fee as they had bought the cake back. The whole experience has meant we have not returned as you do not expect to be treated badly and pay for the pleasure!From reading the reviews it appears that there is a gentleman who people rate as having excellent customer service and there is multiple reviews of a rude lady with terrible customer service, let's hope Paul's fix the problem before she destroys the business!

best cakes around. always went to the southall one but now makes it so much easier. great customer service, great website with a range of cakes to choose from and excellent tasting cakes. highly recommended.

When we tasted the cake u gave the US it was dry bitter and there was strawberry jam in the middle of the cake it was supposed to be a chocalate cake it was bad

Provided a cake which tasted of egg and the cream was stale when i asked for a egg-less cake due to religious reasons. I went to speak to the owner and he was very stubborn. Would not recommend this bakery to anyone and he has just lost a customer.

Very disappointed with the service and product, provide full description along with the picture of the cake, the guy written down all the details & even given us the copy of that but most of the things mismatched with the description and at the time of collection no choice to take it as all the quest were waiting for it and it was reported to the lady that time and she promised that manager will call us for this, no one ever calls us back and even when we called them again to have a word with manager, got his number but he never picks up the phone. It was quite expensive cake, we paid £65 for my son's birthday cake. Please avoid this shop. Zero customer service.

Nice fresh cream cakes very tasty

4 stars, because you pay £10 for small picture on top, which we don't like, at least they can make it on any cake you like. They charge £5 for chocolate sponge. Everything else was good and the Ferrero Rocher cake was nice.

I ordered a custom made cake in the morning, was ready to collect in the evening and was exactly what I asked for- what I wanted was intricate and they created an absolute master piece which not only impressed my guests at my event, but also enhanced our events experience. The taste was great and they really catered to my needs. Thank you for everything.

Excellent fresh cream cakes, brilliant service. Their slough branch is a little far from me but its always well worth the trip for our birthday cakes. I was recommended pauls by a friend and have tried quiet a few different cake shops but once i went pauls i was hooked!

Very last min request for a cake, the team where very accommodating. The cake tasted amazing, everyone loved it and scraping their plates. The party candles where funny too. Thanks, will definitely be visiting again.

I ordered a chocolate birthday cake for my son's 4th birthday at the Slough branch and to my disappointment it was a vanilla sponge cake. I was so devastated because we flew out to Spain with this cake. I had to go all the way to Slough to order this eggless cake because my son has allergies. I contacted the branch upon my return and complained about it but they showed no remorse what so ever. The person who took the order was meant to call me in 10minutes but they never did. I would never recommend this bakery to anyone after receiving such treatment.

Not happy at all ordered cake and specially asked for a particular picture and they were agree to make it paid 30 for 8” size of cake and it came up as totally different wen we went there to collect it wasn’t even ready and moreover instead of apologising for spoiling our day staff was not even ready to accept their mistake. Not gonna go there again was really annoying

I loved it I always go every year and love it absolutely delicious and beautiful I ordered a unicorn cake and asked to be exactly the same and it really was the exact same loved it I can’t ask for more thank you so much Paul bakery and it is a pleasure coming to you every year and thank you once again for the best cakes ever

Today we have ordered one of the worst cake from Slough branch with expensive price I paid. Also when ordering the cake I spent an half an hour to explain the cake the lady from Paul's bakery Slough is rude when talking through phone. Please avoid this bakery when you order for special occasion... AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

Came to paul's for the first time. I Ordered a cake for my sisters 21st birthday and it tasted fantastic! The design was just what i asked for. Very pleased!

Amazing cakes, was little cautious at first as we have never used pauls before but i was very pleasantly surprised. good selection of designs. I got a chocolate cake, it looked amazing and tasted even better! highly recommended

I wasn’t happy with the cake. Paid 45£ specifically asking for egg sponge. Cake tasted weird and sponge was definitely eggless.
